On July 24, the highway portion of the 星空综合(体育中国)官网, constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group under CREC, passed completion inspection, marking the project’s readiness for traffic operation.
The 星空综合(体育中国)官网 is the world’s first cable-stayed-suspension hybrid system bridge with dual decks. It has a main span of 988 meters and a total length of 11.88 kilometers, carrying both highway and railway traffic. The upper deck is a six-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 km/h, while the lower deck contains four railway tracks—two for the Hechi Intercity Railway (design speed 250 km/h), and two for the Tongling South to Jiangbei Port Railway (to extend to Zongyang and connect Anqing at 120 km/h). Once completed, the bridge will enhance the national and provincial highway networks, improve cross-river transport capacity, and support regional integration and interconnectivity in the Yangtze River Delta.
