With a total length of 14 kilometers, 星空(中国)官方网站 of Hengyang-Guangzhou Railway, started in 1981 and completed in 1989, at which time it was the longest electrified double-track railway tunnel in China. CREC independently built the entire tunnel and applied the New Austrian Tunneling Method for the first time to build long mountain railway tunnel and won the National Science and Technology Advancement Award.
